MyFedLoan servicing is a website that offers customer service to student loan borrowers at myfedloan.org. This site offers assistance to those borrowers whose student loans are owned by the U.S. Government. You will be able to easily manage your account, establish a payment plan, make a payment, or consider Consolidation for your loan.
This website is easy to navigate and manage your account once you have created an account. To create an account you will follow the instructions listed within the Create an Account button located on the left hand side of the screen. Here they will ask you to fill out personal information including your name, email address, date of birth, and account number. If you do not have an account number handy you will be asked to enter your social security number and agree to the terms and conditions located at the bottom of your screen before you can advance. You will then be asked to create a user-name and password, answer some brief security questions, verify your information, and confirm your account. Once you have created this account you will be able to log into you account and manage your loan quickly and easily.
Within the site you will also be able to make payments either online payments, set up direct debits, or pay your loan off. With your account access you will also be able to manage your account by updating your information, consolidation, and also see if you qualify for loan forgiveness. Once you have set up your billing and payment plans there are links available on the website to help you understand your bill and even choose your due date.
They even offer a help center located under your log in account access- here you can read the FAQs, learn how to unlock an account that has been locked, and modify the way you would like to receive you bill under the correspondence warehouse. You could even choose to go paperless as well and do all of your billing through the website.
