As a registered member you will be able to view policy information to find out who is covered, and what coverages apply to your vehicles. Make a payment towards your policy anywhere you have access to the Internet and a computer or mobile device. Request a new ID card, obtain quotes, make policy changes, renew a current policy and even view or print a current policy contract all from within the confines of thegeneral.com/mypolicy.

Register Your Account

To register for online access you must provide some required information that only you will have access to and includes the following:

  • Policy number
  • Valid email address
  • Date of birth
  • ZIP Code

To start the process locate the orange register button and click to continue. In the beginning of the registration you’ll need to provide the last seven digits of your policy number. When your policy number has been verified, you will continue with account set up by giving personal information such as your email address, date of birth, home address and contact information. To complete the registration process you’ll need to verify all the information you provided is accurate submitting.

MyPolicy Help is available for assistance with the registration process. Contact customer service at 888-333-2331 Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 9 PM central standard time and on Friday from 7 AM to 8 PM central standard time and on Saturday 7 AM to 4 PM.
